Comparison of JEHOVAH of the Old Testament and JESUS CHRIST of the New Testament

The FIRST And The LAST

JEHOVAH: “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am THE FIRST, and I am THE LAST; and beside me there is no God. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. (Isa. 44:6-8)

“Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am THE FIRST, I also am THE LAST.”  (Isa. 48:12)

JESUS: “I am ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING and THE ENDING, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev. 1:8)

“Saying, I am ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST and THE LAST: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am THE FIRST and THE LAST: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” (Rev. 1:11, 17, 18)

“I am ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING and THE END, THE FIRST and THE LAST.” Rev. 22:13

Who alone can say those words except God alone? The Lord says “I am the FIRST and the LAST”. He did not say “We, I and my Son are the FIRST and the LAST”. No! For there is only ONE LORD who can say that.

No God formed before or after God. It is also essential to emphasize God’s Word in Isaiah 43:10,11 “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I AM HE: BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE AFTER ME. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”

The LORD said, “I am THE FIRST and THE LAST. Before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me”. JESUS CHRIST also said the same thing, that he is THE FIRST and THE LAST, which means that JESUS CHRIST is the same Lord of the Old Testament.

The Confession of Traditional Trinitarian Christianity says “In the unity of the Godhead there are three Persons of one substance, power and eternity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; the Holy Spirit eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.”

That Confession teaches that “The Father is of none, but the Son is eternally begotten of the Father”.

The Bible teaches that the Son is “the only begotten of the Father” (Jn. 1:14). “The only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father” (Jn. 1:18). But nowhere in the Scriptures can we find the words “eternally begotten of the Father”.

Being begotten means “being born”. And if somebody is born, it means that somebody has a beginning. A son is called “son” because he has a beginning, and before his existence was his father that begot him. He is born of the father. When talking about JESUS CHRIST as the Son of God, eternity is not involved, because JESUS CHRIST’s Sonship is not eternal. Yes, JESUS CHRIST is eternal, because he is God, and only God is eternal. 

JESUS CHRIST is everlasting. “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; WHOSE GOINGS FORTH HAVE BEEN FROM OF OLD, FROM EVERLASTING.” 

JESUS CHRIST is the EVERLASTING FATHER. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace.” (Isa. 9:6)

Yes, JESUS CHRIST is eternal. He is the Everlasting Father. That Scripture teaches that the child who was to be born, and the son to be given is the Everlasting Father. If that child was to be born – then that child has a beginning, a birthday. So it means that child is not eternal. But the child who was to be born is the Everlasting Father.  It means the one to be born is eternal. But that doesn’t make him eternal Son. JESUS CHRIST as the Son of God is not eternal, but as God he is the Everlasting Father. His sonship has a beginning.

JESUS CHRIST is not eternally begotten of the Father. He was begotten not in eternity, but he was begotten in the flesh, when he became flesh (Jn. 1:14), when the Holy Ghost came upon Mary and the power of the Highest overshadowed her (Lk. 1:35).

JESUS CHRIST’s sonship has a beginning. As the Son of God, he was formed in the belly of his mother. Therefore the Confession “The Son is eternally begotten of the Father” is not a Scriptural Confession but only made by human tradition and categorized as a false doctrine!

JESUS CHRIST as the Son has a beginning, when he was formed in the womb of his mother, Mary. But JESUS as God is eternal. He is the Everlasting Father. No beginning, no ending. The FIRST and the LAST.  The Alpha and the Omega.

JESUS CHRIST is not a God formed after the first God JEHOVAH. JESUS CHRIST is not a Mighty God contrasted with the Almighty God JEHOVAH. No! He is the Mighty God and the Almighty God JEHOVAH!

There is not teaching in Scriptures that JESUS CHRIST is “eternally” begotten, born, or formed of God the Father. That is a false doctrine!

If JESUS CHRIST is the eternally begotten Son of God, then it means that after JEHOVAH, in eternity, the Son is formed or begotten. Then it means that the Son is in eternity beside JEHOVAH. That in eternity there is another Saviour beside JEHOVAH. But God’s words in Scriptures refute that teaching: “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” (Isa. 43:10-11).

If JESUS CHRIST is the eternally begotten Son of God, then in eternity the Son is in eternal submission to the Father, the Son is eternally under the Father, the Father eternally above and greater than the Son. Then the Trinitarians will teach that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are three co-equal persons in eternity? How can the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost be equal in authority? That’s a false doctrine.

The LORD said: “There was no God formed before me or after me”. If JESUS CHRIST is eternally begotten of the Father, then this verse is wrong! But it can’t be wrong! What is wrong is the “eternally begotten Son” doctrine! The Scriptures must not line up with the doctrine, but the doctrine must line up with the Scriptures. For the Scriptures are the truth and the Authority!

If JESUS CHRIST, the Son is eternally begotten of the Father, then it also means that he is eternally formed of the Father. Then he cannot say that he is the FIRST and the LAST, but the Second! And that’s what the Traditionalist Trinitarians teach: JESUS is the Second Person of the Godhead. Why! Because the Traditional Trinitarian teaching teaches that God the Father is of none – he came from none, no beginning (which makes him the FIRST Person). But the Son is unlike the Father, he is eternally begotten or formed of the Father(which makes him the Second Person). The Holy Ghost is not begotten, but eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son (which makes him the Third Person).

If JESUS CHRIST is the eternally begotten of the Father, then it means he was a God formed after JEHOVAH. So JEHOVAH God formed him “in eternity” as “the Eternal Son”, the “Firstborn of every creature” (erroneously used and misinterpreted by Unitarians).

The word “formed”. The word “formed” is used in the creation of the first man Adam (Gen. 2:7). It is also used in forming a man in the womb or belly of his mother (Isa.44:2; Jer. 1:5; Isa. 49:5 and Zech. 12:1).

When the LORD said, there was no God formed before or after me, he was talking about a god created or begotten (believed and taught by pagan nations around Israel).

JESUS CHRIST is not “eternally” begotten of the Father, but in “the fullness of time” (Gal. 4:4), he “was made flesh” (Jn. 1:14) “begotten of the Father” (Jn. 1:14).  And that begetting has a beginning, when he was formed in the womb of his mother, Mary. Mary was the mother of JESUS CHRIST, as the Son, as a man, but not as God. Mary is not “The Mother of God” for God has no mother. Mary was the mother of JESUS as a man. JESUS as a man was born of Mary, making Mary his mother in the flesh. But as God, JESUS has no mother. Actually, as God, Mary is his creature and daughter. JESUS CHRIST is Mary’s “God my Saviour” (Lk. 1:47).

Only Begotten Son vs. Only Begotten God. The King James Bible teaches that JESUS CHRIST is “the Only Begotten Son” – Monogenes Uios (Jn. 1:18). But the corrupt versions, following corrupt texts, teach that Christ is “The Only Begotten God” – Monogenes Theos (Jn. 1:18), teaching that JESUS CHRIST is God – Only begotten. It is obviously contradicting the Scriptural doctrine of Isa. 43:10 which says that “I am he. Before me there was no god formed, neither shall there be after me”. (Corrupt versions teach corrupt doctrines. But the correct Bible – Authorized King James Bible teaches correct doctrine.)

Traditionalists following the corrupt versions teach that JESUS CHRIST is God Only Begotten. They teach that JESUS CHRIST is God but a formed God, a begotten God after the FIRST Person JEHOVAH or God the Father, making JESUS the Second person. They teach that the Father (the FIRST person) is of none, not begotten nor proceeding, absolutely eternal, no beginning. But the Son, JESUS CHRIST they teach is God also, called God the Son, eternally begotten of the Father. But unlike the Father, the Son because he is eternally begotten is not absolutely eternal because he came from God the Father. That he has an eternal beginning, eternal begetting, and eternal birth. Ridiculous! But to avoid the Unitarians’ attack on the Deity of JESUS CHRIST, they added the word “eternally” to the “begotten of the Father”. That’s what the Traditional Christianity did to combat the Arians who teach that JESUS is not God. They created the “eternal Son” doctrine to prove the Deity of Christ. But they are mistaken. They produced what they opposed: heresy.

The doctrine that JESUS CHRIST is only a man, a creature, a small god, a god made by God but not The God must be rejected! But the “eternal Son” doctrine also does not line up with the teachings of the Scriptures and must be also rejected!  

The Trinitarians teach that In the Godhead are the Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They teach that JESUS CHRIST is in the Godhead. But the Scriptures teach that JESUS CHRIST is not in the Godhead but rather “The Godhead is in JESUS CHRIST”. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:9) Because JESUS is The God.

JESUS CHRIST says: I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST. JEHOVAH says: I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST. How many are “The FIRST”? Of course, only One! It is God! This God is JEHOVAH who became flesh and dwelt among us as the Only Begotten Son – no other than OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!

The Everlasting Father. JESUS CHRIST who was born as “a child”, who was given as “a son” is “The EVERLASTING FATHER” (Isa. 9:6).

JEHOVAH is our FATHER. “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.” (Isa.  64:8)

We have only ONE FATHER. “Have we not all ONE FATHER? hath not ONE GOD created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?” (Mal. 2:10)  “And call no man your father upon the earth: for ONE is your FATHER, which is in heaven.” (Mat. 23:9)

If JEHOVAH is Father, and JESUS CHRIST is also Father, does it mean we have two Fathers? NO! We have only One Father and it is JEHOVAH. JEHOVAH is JESUS CHRIST. JESUS is OUR FATHER, THE EVERLASTING FATHER!

JESUS CHRIST is not the “Eternal Son” of God, because his sonship has a beginning. But JESUS CHRIST is the Everlasting Father, the Alpha and the Omega, the FIRST and The LAST. No other than him – the Only One.

The Old Testament Scriptures about the One SAVIOUR

Isaiah 43:3 For I am the LORD thy GOD, the Holy One of Israel, thy SAVIOUR: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no SAVIOUR.

Isaiah 45:15 Verily thou art a GOD that hidest thyself, O GOD of Israel, the SAVIOUR.

Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no GOD else beside me; a just GOD and a SAVIOUR; there is none beside me.

Isaiah 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy SAVIOUR and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 60:16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy SAVIOUR and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

The New Testament Scriptures about the One SAVIOUR

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as CHRIST is the head of the church: and he is the SAVIOUR of the body.

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the SAVIOUR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST:

1 Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by the commandment of GOD our SAVIOUR, and LORD JESUS CHRIST, which is our hope;

1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of GOD our SAVIOUR;

1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living GOD, who is the SAVIOUR of all men, specially of those that believe.

2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Titus 1:3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of GOD our SAVIOUR;

Titus 1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from GOD the Father and the LORD JESUS CHRIST our SAVIOUR.

2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

2 Peter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the LORD and SAVIOUR:

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOUR of the world.

Jude 1:25 To the only wise GOD our SAVIOUR, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

The proofs are obvious that in the Bible there is only One SAVIOUR. JEHOVAH (the LORD) of the Old Testament says “I even I am the LORD (JEHOVAH) and beside me there is no SAVIOUR.” It is very clear, that JEHOVAH alone is the SAVIOUR. But the New Testament calls JESUS CHRIST as The SAVIOUR.

If JEHOVAH of the Old Testament is the SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST of the New Testament cannot be the SAVIOUR, unless JESUS CHRIST is JEHOVAH himself.

There cannot be two Saviours, because the Bible clearly teaches only ONE SAVIOUR. This One SAVIOUR is JEHOVAH. This One SAVIOUR is JESUS CHRIST. Because JESUS CHRIST is JEHOVAH!

This GOD (JEHOVAH) is the Only SAVIOUR. Beside him there is no SAVIOUR. Only he is the SAVIOUR, no one else. We cannot find in the Bible that GOD ever delegated the work of salvation to a creature or to an angel or to any deity beside him. He alone is able to accomplish the work of salvation and redemption.

There are two SAVIOURs – GOD the Father and GOD the Son. No!

The Scripture’s Doctrine: There is only One SAVIOUR and this SAVIOUR is JESUS CHRIST – JEHOVAH GOD manifest in the flesh. The One GOD and the One Mediator between GOD and men.

ANG KASAYSAYAN NG MANIPESTASYON NG DIYOS

A. Ang Diyos ay Espiritu. “Ang Diyos ay isang Espiritu” (Juan 4:24). Ang Diyos ay isang Espiritu. At ang Espiritu ay hindi nakikita. Walang anyo. Hindi limitado ng panahon, lugar o anumang bagay. Ito ay isa sa mga walang-hanggang kalikasan ng Diyos.

Tingnan natin ang pagsasalarawan sa Diyos sa aklat ni Timoteo: “Siya lamang ang may kawalang-kamatayan, nananahan sa kaliwanagan na walang taong makalalapit; na sa kanya ay walang taong nakakita, ni makakikita” (1 Timoteo 6:16). Iyan ang pagsasalarawan sa Diyos na Espiritu. Iyan ang tunay na esensya ng Diyos – Espiritu.

Sa kawalang-hanggan, ang Diyos ay Espiritu. Bago pa magsimula ang lahat, bago pa niya gawin ang lahat siya ay Espiritu: walang anyo, di-limitado ng panahon, lugar at anumang bagay sa sansinukob.

B. Ang Diyos ay naglimita sa kanyang sarili.

1. Alang-alang sa paglikha.

Ang Elohim. Subalit alang-alang sa paglikha, nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili. Siya ay gumanap sa kanyang opisina bilang Elohim nang nilikha niya ang langit at lupa (Genesis 1:1) sa simula. Ang Salita. Ganundin, sa simula ng lahat siya ay ang Salita (Juan 1:1). Bago pa ang simula, siya ay Espiritu, di-limitado. Ngunit nang nagsimula na ang simula, siya ay naging Salita at naging Elohim. Para sa paglikha, nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili upang gampanan ang kanyang opisina bilang Elohim at bilang Salita. Ayon sa Juan 1:1 Ang Diyos mismo ay ang kanyang Salita. At sa talatang 3, ay sinasabing ang Salitang ito ang gumawa ng lahat ng bagay.

Ang Anyo ng Diyos. Ayon kay Apostol Pablo sa Filipos 2:6, na si CRISTO JESUS ay nasa ANYO NG DIYOS. Oo, siya ay naglimita sa kanyang sarili – nagkaroon siya ng anyo ng Diyos, para sa paglikha. Ito ay patungkol sa kalagayan ni CRISTO bago pa siya magkatawang-tao. Siya ay nasa anyo ng Diyos. Tandaan natin: na ang Diyos ay Espiritu – walang anyo at hindi limitado. Ngunit alang-alang sa paglikha, nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili nang kinuha niya ang anyo ng Diyos. Ang Diyos na Espiritu ay naging Elohim, Salita at Anyo ng Diyos para sa paglikha.

Ang Larawan ng Diyos. Si CRISTO ay “ANG LARAWAN NG DI-NAKIKITANG DIYOS” (Colosas 1:15). Oo, siya ay naglimita sa kanyang sarili alang-alang sa paglikha, hindi lang sa paglikha sa langit at lupa, kundi maging sa paglikha sa tao. Ayon sa Genesis 1:27 “Nilikha ng Diyos ang tao sa kanyang sariling larawan”. Si Cristo ang larawan ng Diyos na di-nakikita. Ang Espiritu ay di-nakikita at walang anyo. Paano siyang magkakaroon ng larawan? Nilimitahan ng Diyos ang kanyang sarili sa pagiging LARAWAN NG DI-NAKIKITANG DIYOS. Tandaan natin na ang larawang binabanggit ay pangkatawan na larawan at di-moral. Ang Espiritu ay di-nakikita. Kinakailangang maihayag niya ang kanyang sarili sa isang limitadong paraan, sa pagkakaroon ng anyo. At sa anyong ito nga, ginawa ang tao. Ayon sa Genesis 3:8, ang Diyos ay binanggit na LUMALAKAD sa halamanan ng Eden. Paano siyang lalakad kung wala siyang paa? Maaaring sabihin natin na ginamit lang ang pagsasalarawan na ito upang maunawaan ng tao ang Diyos, ngunit tandaan natin na ang Diyos ay nagkaroon ng ANYO NG DIYOS at LARAWAN NG DIYOS upang makipagniig siya sa tao.

Ang Ama. “Ngunit ngayon, O PANGINOON (JEHOVAH), ikaw ay aming AMA; kami ay malagkit na putik, at ikaw ay aming magpapalyok; at kaming lahat ay GAWA NG IYONG KAMAY” (Isaias 64:8)

Ang Diyos ay nagpahayag bilang AMA alang-alang sa paglikha sa sangkatauhan. Ang Diyos ay tinatawag ding “Walang hanggang Ama” o “Ama ng Walang Hanggan” (Isaias 9:6). Dahil siya ay walang hanggan kung kaya’t siya ang Ama o ang may taglay ng walang hanggan. Sa kanya nanggaling ang walang hanggan.

Ang Diyos na Espiritu ay naglimita sa kanyang sarili alang-alang sa paglikha sa lahat ng bagay at sa sangkatauhan sa pamamagitan ng pagkapahayag niya sa paglikha bilang ang Elohim, ang Salita, ang Anyo ng Diyos, ang Larawan ng Diyos at ang Ama.

“Ikaw ay AMING AMA, bagaman hindi kami kinilala ni Abraham, at hindi kami kilala ng Israel: ikaw, Oh PANGINOON (JEHOVAH), ay AMING AMA, aming Manunubos; ang iyong pangalan ay mula sa walang pasimula.” (Isaias 63:16)

2. Alang-alang sa Pagtubos

Jehovah. Sa Lumang Tipan ang Diyos ay nagpahayag sa iba’t ibang pangalan at titulo (Tingnan sa Aralin 4). Kay Abraham, Isaac at Jacob ay nagpakita siya bilang Diyos na Makapangyarihan; ngunit di siya nakilala sa kanyang pangalang JEHOVAH (Exodo 6:3). Ang ibig sabihin ng pangalang JEHOVAH ay “Ang walang hanggang umiiral sa kanyang sarili na nagpapahayag ng kanyang sarili”. Iyan si JEHOVAH. Ito ang kanyang pangalan magpakailanman (Exodo 3:15). Nagpakilala siya kay Moises bilang si “AKO NGA” (Exodo 3:14). Ito rin ang pahayag ng PANGINOONG JESU-CRISTO. Siya ay si “AKO NGA”. (Juan 8:58). Si JEHOVAH ay si JESU-CRISTO. Iyan ang Diyos – siya ay laging umiiral – sa walang pasimula – sa nakaraan – sa kasalukuyan – sa kinabukasan – at sa walang hanggan. Si JEHOVAH/JESU-CRISTO ay WALANG PASIMULA at WALANG HANGGAN! Iyan ang kanyang pangalan magpakailan man.

Pagdating sa paglikha, ang pangalan at titulong ginamit ng Diyos ay EL at ELOHIM. Ngunit pagdating sa pagtubos, ang pangalan at titulong ginamit niya ay JEHOVAH at mga pangalang may kaugnayan dito. Sa kasaysayan ng Israel, ang Diyos ay nakipagkasunduan sa kanila bilang si JEHOVAH.

Ang Bugtong na Anak ng Diyos. Sa Lumang Tipan, si JEHOVAH ay nagsalita at nagpahayag sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga sugong propeta. Ngunit sa Bagong Tipan, ang Diyos ay nagsalita at nagpahayag sa pamamagitan ng kanyang ANAK na kanyang sinugo. (Heb 1:1-2)

Sino ba ang ANAK NG DIYOS? Siya ba ay isang Personang hiwalay at iba pa sa Diyos?

Ayon sa Isaias 9:6, ang ANAK ay tatawaging WALANG HANGGANG AMA. Sinasabi dito na ang inihulang Mesias na ipapanganak ay iyon din ANG AMA, at hindi ibang Persona.

Ang Juan 3:16 at Galacia 4:4 ay tumutukoy sa pagsusugo ng Diyos sa kanyang Anak.

Juan 1:14,18 “At ang SALITA ay ginawang LAMAN, at nanahan sa gitna natin, (at namasdan namin ang kanyang kaluwalhatian, ang kaluwalhatiang gaya ng sa BUGTONG NA ISINILANG NG AMA,) puno ng biyaya at katotohanan…Walang taong nakakita sa Diyos sa alinmang panahon; ang BUGTONG NA ISINILANG NA ANAK, na nasa dibdib ng Ama, ay ipinahayag niya siya.”

Taliwas sa tradisyunal na paniniwala, ang ANAK NG DIYOS ay hindi walang hanggan. Ang titulong BUGTONG NA ANAK NG DIYOS ay unang binanggit sa Bagong Tipan lamang. Hindi natin mababasa ang relasyon ng AMA at ng ANAK sa Lumang Tipan. Mababasa lang natin ito sa Bagong Tipan. Kung may binabanggit man tungkol sa ANAK sa Lumang Tipan, ito ay propesiya sa darating na panahon na naganap na nang nahayag si CRISTO sa LAMAN.

Ang Diyos ay nagkatawang-tao at ipinanganak. Kaya siya ay tinawag na BUGTONG NA ISINILANG NA ANAK NG DIYOS. Siya lamang ang ipinanganak ng Diyos sa gayong paraan sa pamamagitan ng birhen. At ang titulong ANAK NG DIYOS ay titulo ng kanyang pagiging Diyos at pagiging tao. Siya ang DIYOS-TAO.

Kagaya ng ginawa ng Diyos na ESPIRITU na ang pangalan ay JEHOVAH alang-alang sa paglikha, nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahayag bilang Ang ELOHIM, Ang SALITA, Ang ANYO NG DIYOS, Ang LARAWAN NG DIYOS, at Ang AMA, ganondin, alang-alang sa pagtubos sa sangkatauhan, lalo pang nilimitahan ng Diyos ang kanyang sarili sa pamamagitan ng kanyang PAGKAKATAWANG-TAO o PAGIGING LAMAN. Siya ay ipinaglihi sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Espiritu at ipinanganak ng birheng si Maria. (Lucas 1:35; Mateo 1:20). Nang siya’y nagkatawang-tao, at saka doon nagsimula ang paggamit niya sa kanyang titulo at pagganap sa kanyang opisina bilang ANAK NG DIYOS. At sa kanyang pagkakatawang-tao binigyan siya ng pangalang JESUS (Mateo 1:21).

Namuhay ang DIYOS bilang ANAK NG DIYOS – isang taong may limitasyon…nagugutom…kumakain…

inaantok…natutulog…napapagod… nagpapahinga… nalulungkot… nagagalit… natutuwa, atbp.

Namuhay siya nang normal bilang tao, ngunit di nagkasala (Hebreo 4:15). Nagturo siya, gumawa ng himala, nagpagaling, nagpalabas ng mga diyablo, naglinis ng mga ketongin. Ipinahayag niya ang Diyos. Sa kanya nananahan ang buong kapuspusan ng Pagka-Diyos sa katawan (Colosas 2:9).

Siya ay ang DIYOS NA NAHAYAG SA LAMAN (1 Timoteo 3:16). Ngunit hindi ito alam ng mga taong nasa paligid niya. “Siya ay nasa sanlibutan, at ang sanlibutan ay ginawa niya, at hindi siya nakilala ng sanlibutan” (Juan 1:10)

Bagama’t ang Diyos ay nagkatawang-tao at gumanap sa opisina niya bilang ANAK, nagpapatuloy pa rin ang pagganap niya sa kanyang opisina bilang AMA na nasa langit. Kahit nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili sa pagiging tao na limitado sa katawan, ang Diyos ay nananatili pa ring ESPIRITU (Juan 4:24) na hindi limitado ng anumang bagay. Mapapansin na ang Panginoong JESU-CRISTO sa kanyang opisina bilang ANAK ay nanalangin at nakipag-usap sa AMA. At nang ang ANAK ay binautismuhan, ang AMA ay nagsalita at ang BANAL NA ESPIRITU naman ay bumabang tulad ng kalapati. (Mateo 3:16-17). Sabi ng mga tradisyunal na teologo, ang eksenang ito daw ay nagpapatunay ng Trinidad o tatlong magkakaibang persona ng Diyos. Ngunit ito ay hindi totoo. Ito ay mga tatlong opisina o manipestasyon ng IISANG DIYOS – IISANG PERSONA lamang. Hindi imposible sa DIyos na siya ay nasa dalawa o tatlong dako sa parehong oras. Hindi mahirap sa kanya na maging Ama at Anak sa parehong oras. Ang katotohanan, nang ang ANAK ay nasa lupa, ay may AMANG nasa langit. Ngunit hindi dalawang persona. Kundi IISANG PERSONA lamang.

Paano natin ipapaliwanag ang talatang ito: “Nang magkagayo’y ang PANGINOON (JEHOVAH) ay nagpaulan sa Sodoma at Gomorra ng asupre at apoy mula sa PANGINOON (JEHOVAH) buhat sa langit” (Genesis 19:24). May titnutukoy ditong dalawang PANGINOON, ang nasa lupa at nasa langit. Ibig bang sabihin ay dalawang persona sila? HINDI. Mayroon lamang IISANG PANGINOON. Ngunit ang IISANG PANGINOON na ito ay nagawa niyang gumanap sa kanyang dalawang opisina sa langit at sa lupa. Ganondin ang AMA at ang ANAK. Sabay niyang ginampanan ang pagiging AMA at ang pagiging ANAK.

Kahit nang umakyat na ang ANAK sa langit at umupo sa kanang kamay ng AMA, ay nagpapatuloy pa rin ang dalawang manipestasyon niyang ito – bilang AMA at ANAK. Sa mga pagbati ni Apostol Pablo sa mga iglesya, ay nababanggit niya ang mga ito “Biyaya mula sa Diyos Ama at sa Panginoong Jesu-Cristo” (1 Corino 1:3; 2 Corinto 13:14; Galacia 1:3; Efeso 1:2 atbp.) May talata pang nagsasasabi na ang Diyos AMA ay DIYOS AT AMA NG PANGINOONG JESU-CRISTO (Efeso 1:3), na ginagamit ng mga kulto na nagtuturo na si Cristo ay hindi Diyos kundi tao lamang. Ngunit ang talatang ito ay tungkol sa relasyon ng ANAK sa AMA. Ang ANAK ay anak at nagpapasakop sa AMA. Ngunit di nangangahulugang di Diyos ang ANAK. Ang relasyong ito ng AMA at ANAK ay hanggang sa pagdating ni Cristo na kung saan ay wala nang AMA at ANAK kundi ang DIYOS ay magiging LAHAT sa LAHAT (1 Corinto 15:24,28).

Ayon sa Panginoong JESU-CRISTO, ang nakakita sa kanya ay nakakita sa AMA dahil siya at ang AMA ay IISA (Juan 14:9; 10:30). Ibig sabihin si JESUS ay ang AMA. Hindi lang niya sinasabi nang diretso na siya ang Diyos dahil nang nagkatawang-tao siya ay ibinaba niya ang kanyang sarili bilang “ANYO NG LINGKOD” at ginawa sa “WANGIS NG MGA TAO” (Filipos 2:7). Kung kaya’t ang sinasabi niyang dapat sambahin ay ang AMA (Juan 4:23), ang dapat dalanginan ay ang AMA (Mateo 6:6), ang dapat tawaging Ama ay ang DIYOS AMA lamang (Mateo 23:9). Sinabi niyang ang Ama ay higit na dakila sa kanya (Juan 14:28). Bakit? Sino bang anak ang higit na dakila sa kanyang ama? Ang Diyos ay nagpakababa bilang ANAK, at bilang ANAK, siya ay higit na mababa kaysa sa kanyang opisina bilang AMA. Ngunit ang mga ito ay hindi dalawang persona.

Siya ay ipinako sa krus, namatay, nalibing, at muling nabuhay sa ikatlong araw nang dahil sa kasalanan ng sangkatauhan (1 Corinto 15:3-4). Pagkatapos ng apatnapung araw, siya ay umakyat sa langit at umupo sa kanan ng Diyos (Hebreo 1:3; 8:1; 10:12).

Ang Banal na Espiritu. Sa araw ng Pentecostes, isinugo ng Diyos ang kanyang Espiritu. Ibinuhos ng Diyos ang kanyang Espiritu (Gawa 2:4; 2:18) bilang katuparan ng hula ni Propeta Joel. Dito naman ay nagpahayag ang Diyos bilang Banal na Espiritu. Ngunit ito ay hindi ang tradisyunal na ikatlong Persona.

Ang Banal na Espiritu ay walang iba kundi si JEHOVAH mismo, ang PANGINOON (2 Corinto 3:17-18). Ang Banal na Espiritu ang kapangyarihan ng Diyos at nagpatibay sa pangangaral ng ebanghelyo ng mga apostol sa panahon ng Mga Gawa sa pamamagitan ng mga tanda, kababalaghan at mga himala (Marcos 16:19-20; Hebreo 2:4).

Ang sabi ng Panginoong JESU-CRISTO, ay hindi niya iiwanang ulila ang mga apostol (Juan 14:18). Kung hindi siya aalis, hindi darating ang Banal na Espiritu (Juan 16:7). Ang Banal na Espiritu ang magiging Mang-aaliw nila kapalit ng ANAK (Juna 14:16). Ang umalis ay siya ring dumating ngunit sa ibang kapahayagan – o opisina – bilang Banal na Espiritu, bilang Mang-aaliw.

Ayon sa Panginoong JESU-CRISTO, kasama siya ng mga alagad hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan (Mateo 28:20). Ipapangaral nila ang ebanghelyo ng kaharian hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan (Mateo 24:14). Ito ay hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan (o kapanahunan) na sa wikang Ingles ay “age”. Ito ang katapusan ng Jewish age na naganap noong 70 A.D. nang winasak ng Roma ang templo at lungsod ng Jerusalem nang lubusan (Lucas 21:20-24). Si JESUS sa kanyang opisina bilang Banal na Espiritu ay kasama ng mga alagad hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan ng Judaismo noong 70 A.D. Ang Pagkawasak ng Judaismo[1] ang katapusan ng Templo, Israel at Batas.

C. Ang Diyos ay Diyos na nasa lahat. Ang pagdating ni CRISTO ay ang KATAPUSAN. Ngunit hindi ang KATAPUSAN ng lahat. Ito ang KATAPUSAN NG KAPANAHUNAN NG JUDAISMO. Ngunit ito naman ang SIMULA ng KAPANAHUNAN ng WALANG HANGGANG PRESENSYA NG DIYOS. (Colosas 1:25-29)

Ayon sa 1 Corinto 15:24-28, sa pagdating ni Cristo, titigil na ang kanyang paghahari bilang ANAK. Isusuko na ng ANAK ang kaharian sa AMA pagkatapos na mailagay niya ang KAMATAYAN sa ilalim ng kanyang mga paa. Pagkatapos niyan, ang ANAK ay magpapasakop sa DIYOS, upang ang DIYOS ay maging LAHAT SA LAHAT. Ang ibig sabihin niyan, ang Panginoong JESU-CRISTO sa kanyang opisina bilang ANAK ay isusuko ang kaharian at ang kanyang sarili sa DIYOS – sa kanyang sarili rin bilang DIYOS. Kung kayat sa pangyayaring iyan – ay natapos na ang manipestasyon ng Diyos bilang Ama, bilang Anak at bilang Banal na Espiritu – at ANG DIYOS bilang DIYOS ay magiging LAHAT SA LAHAT.

Sino ba ang DIYOS NA NASA LAHAT? Ayon sa Colosas 1:27 si CRISTO NA NASA INYO, ang pag-asa ng kaluwalhatian. Siya ang CRISTO NASA LAHAT (Colosas 3:11). Ang DIYOS NA NASA LAHAT ay walang iba kundi si CRISTO NA NASA LAHAT.

Si JEHOVAH – ang DIYOS na ESPIRITU – ay walang pasimula at walang hanggan. Alang-alang sa paglikha, nilimitahan niya ang kanyang sarili bilang Ang ELOHIM, ang SALITA, ang ANYO NG DIYOS, ang LARAWAN NG DIYOS, ang AMA. Alang-alang sa pagtubos, ay lalo pa niyang nilimitahan ang kanyang sarili bilang ANAK NG DIYOS, bilang BANAL NA ESPIRITU. Ngunit tinapos niya ang paglilimita niya sa kanyang sarili nang naganap ang katubusan at siya ay bumalik sa pagiging di-limitado – bilang DIYOS NA NASA LAHAT – si JEHOVAH – ang PANGINOONG JESU-CRISTO.

Ang tradisyunal na doktrina ng Trinidad ay isang huwad na pananampalataya, na kinuha lang mula sa paganismo at hindi sa doktrina ng Biblia. Ang doktrinang ito ng Trinidad ay hindi aral ng Biblia, kung kaya’t ito ay lubusan nating sinasalangsang. Hindi natin mababasa sa Biblia ang salitang Trinidad o ang Tatlong Persona. Ang Diyos ng Israel na si JEHOVAH ay ang IISA at TUNAY NA DIYOS, at wala nang iba. Siya ang PANGINOONG JESU-CRISTO ng KRISTIYANISMO.

“Kayo'y aking mga saksi, sabi ng PANGINOON (JEHOVAH), at aking lingkod na aking pinili: upang inyong kilalanin at sampalatayan ako, at inyong maunawaan na AKO NGA SIYA; bago ako ay walang inanyuang Diyos, o magkakaroon man pagkatapos ko. Ako, sa makatuwid baga'y ako, ang PANGINOON (JEHOVAH); at liban sa akin ay walang tagapagligtas. Ako'y nagpahayag, at nagligtas, at ako'y nagpakilala, nang walang ibang diyos sa gitna ninyo: kaya't kayo ang aking mga saksi, sabi ng PANGINOON (JEHOVAH), na ako ang Diyos. (Isaias 43:10-12)

[1] Ang pagkawasak ng Judaismo ang tinatawag na “ARAW NG DIYOS” (2 Pedro 3:12) na ang MGA LANGIT na NASA APOY ay MATUTUNAW, at ang MGA ELEMENTO ay MALULUSAW ng MATINDING INIT (2 Pedro 3:12). Ang LUPA at ang mga gawa nito ay MASUSUNOG (2 Pedro 3:10). Ang araw ng Diyos ay ang araw ng kanyang paghihiganti. Ang babaeng mapangalunya – ang Jerusalem – ay winasak ng Diyos (Pahayag 19:2) at idineklarang HINDI NA BAYAN NG DIYOS (Oseas 1:9). Ang LANGIT ay ang tahanan ng Diyos – ang TEMPLO. Winasak na at tinunaw sa apoy. Ang LUPA ay ang ISRAEL. Sinunog. Ang MGA ELEMENTO ay ang MGA ELEMENTO o MGA ARAL NG JUDAISMO (Galacia 4:3,9; 2 Pedro 3:10,12). At pagkatapos niyan ay nagsimula na ang MGA BAGONG LANGIT at BAGONG LUPA na tinatahanan ng KATUWIRAN (2 Pedro 3:13). Ang BAGONG LANGIT – ang tahanan ng Diyos – ang Iglesya na KATAWAN NI CRISTO (Efeso 1:22-23; Colosas 1:18) na kanyang pinupuspos ng kanyang kaluwalhatian. Ang BAGONG LUPA – hindi ito paggawa ng BAGONG ISRAEL – kundi ng isang BAGONG BAYAN – Ang IGLESYA – ISANG BAGONG TAO (Colosas 3:10). Wala nang DAGAT – na kumakatawan sa MGA GENTIL. Dahil sa KATAWAN NI CRISTO – wala nang pagkakaiba ang Judio at Gentil. Dahil wala nang Judio at Gentil. Ang pagkakakilanlan ng bayan ng Diyos ay hindi sa lahi o dugo kundi sa pakikipag-isa kay CRISTO (Colosas 3:11). Wala nang BATAS NI MOISES. Wala nang MGA ORDINANSA. Wala nang BAUTISMO SA TUBIG. Tayo ngayon ay nasa ILALIM NG BIYAYA (Roma 6:14) at KUMPLETO KAY CRISTO (Colosas 2:10).
